The Practice

End-to-end trade, run by people who have shipped before.

We are not a marketplace, a broker network, or a software platform. We are a small trade desk that takes responsibility for moving a container from the factory floor to your warehouse — and for everything that has to be true along the way.

Our clients typically come to us when their existing arrangement has failed: a supplier that ghosted, a customs file that stalled, or a contract that didn't survive contact with reality. We rebuild those relationships and run the operation properly — letters of credit, Incoterms that mean what you think they mean, and freight options priced honestly.

We operate primarily between Canadian and U.S. ports (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Long Beach), the GCC (Jebel Ali, Hamad, Dammam), and selected European hubs (Rotterdam, Antwerp, Felixstowe).

Sectors

Six categories of goods we move regularly.

We focus where we have buyer and seller relationships on both ends. If your category is not here, ask — we may know someone who can.

Electronics & Components

Consumer electronics, IT hardware, and electronic components between North-American distributors and GCC retailers and re-exporters.

Agricultural Commodities

Canadian pulses, grains, and oilseeds into Gulf and South-Asian buyers. Container and bulk vessel programs supported.

Industrial Equipment

Used and new heavy equipment, generators, and industrial spares. End-user verification and re-export documentation included.

Textiles & Apparel

South-Asian textile manufacturers into Canadian and U.S. wholesale and private-label buyers. QC inspection on request.

Packaged Food & FMCG

Shelf-stable food, beverages, and FMCG. CFIA, FDA, and SFDA labelling and registration handled end-to-end.

Automotive & Spare Parts

Canadian and U.S. auto parts into Gulf and African markets. VIN-verified used vehicles for personal export on request.

Engagement Types

How We Work

From RFQ to receipt, in four phases.

Brief

You describe the goods, the volumes, and the destination. We quote a delivered price and a realistic timeline within five working days.

Contract

We agree commercial terms — Incoterms, payment instrument, QC standard, and the named individuals responsible at each stage.

Execute

Production, inspection, booking, and customs filings. Daily status updates while goods are in motion; no news only when there is none.

Land & Reconcile

Receipt confirmed, documents archived, duty drawback claimed where available. Post-shipment review on every engagement.

Trade Desk FAQ

Common questions on the first call.

For new clients we generally take projects of one full container (FCL) or above, or LCL consolidations with a delivered value of CAD $25,000+. Smaller projects are considered case by case when there is a path to scale.

For sourcing and freight, we quote a delivered-to-door price with our margin transparently disclosed. For export representation, we work on a monthly retainer plus performance commission. Either model is set out in writing before work begins.

We do not handle weapons, defence equipment, or items subject to Canadian Controlled Goods or U.S. ITAR regulation. We do handle dual-use items where appropriate end-use certificates and Global Affairs permits can be obtained.

Yes. First-time exporters are often our most rewarding clients. We will walk you through Incoterms, payment instruments, documentation, and the realities of the lane before you commit capital — and we will tell you honestly if your unit economics don't work.
